Correctional Service Canada is seeking a supplier to replace the concrete sidewalk between buildings JVJ25 and JVJ1 at Joyceville Institution in Ontario. The work includes supplying materials, labour and equipment to remove and dispose off-site approximately 2,000 ft2 of existing concrete, excavating and preparing subgrade, supplying and installing a compacted gravel sub‑base raised as required to prevent water pooling, and installing a new 25 MPa sidewalk-grade concrete surface properly aligned and sloped away from buildings. The contractor must provide temporary walkways and safe access during construction, restore disturbed areas, comply with applicable codes and safety standards, keep the site clean, submit a complete project schedule within ten business days of contract award, and deliver a final report with photographs upon completion. The work must be performed and completed by January 31, 2027. This solicitation is open only to Canadian suppliers, is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement, and may be given preference or set aside for Indigenous suppliers under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business if two or more responsive Indigenous bids are received; evaluation will follow a lowest-priced compliant bid approach.
