About

City of Toronto is seeking a single qualified architectural supplier to act as prime consultant to provide full professional and technical architectural and engineering services for Design Excellence in Modernization of Scarborough Centennial Recreation Centre. The Supplier and design team must demonstrate commitment to design excellence and proven ability to deliver high-quality, innovative community centre work including aquatics and arena facilities, plus strong public engagement, communication and consultation skills. The lead architect must be authorized to practise in Ontario and hold a valid Certificate of Practice from the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA). The team must include qualified engineering consultant firms for mechanical, electrical, structural and civil disciplines, each with a valid Certificate of Authorization and Consulting Engineer designation in accordance with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO). A mandatory online pre-bid MS Teams meeting will take place at 1:00 pm (Toronto time) on August 12, 2026; suppliers must attend and sign the attendance sheet at that meeting or their bids will be declared non-compliant. City division: Parks, Forestry & Recreation.
