Tender: Replacement of Cell Window Glazing and Installation of Polycarbonate Security Screens – Kent Institution (CSC Pacific Region)

Correctional Service Canada at Kent Institution (Pacific Region) is seeking a supplier to replace existing cell window glazing and install polycarbonate security screens to prevent inmates from manipulating window assemblies and receiving contraband delivered by drone. The contractor must supply and install new security glazing in 168 windows across POD 1 and POD 2 (total 504 glazing panels), supply and install one polycarbonate security screen per window, supply and install all required security screws, fasteners and accessories, apply security caulking to all newly installed glazing assemblies and to 12 existing windows in L-Range, POD 1, and ensure all work complies with the construction drawings, specifications, manufacturer’s instructions and institutional security requirements. The work must be performed and completed within 44 weeks from notification of acceptance.
