County of Newell is seeking a single contractor to manage the relocation, repair and replacement of irrigation infrastructure to maximize irrigated acreage near Brooks and Bow Island, Alberta. Phase 1 requires separating and moving two seven‑tower linear pivots from SE 17‑9‑11‑W4 (County of Forty Mile) and re‑setting them across three locations in the County of Newell into six field installations (five 2‑tower sets and one 3‑tower set), each with a generator, new panel and guidance system; the contractor must determine the best system match for each field. Phase 2, after the original spans are cleared, includes removing existing mainline and electrical service (approximately 700 m), removing and installing a new mainline (approximately 350 m), installing new power from the pumphouse to the new pivot pad (approximately 350 m), new electrical panels and VFD, and supplying and installing a low‑pressure centre pivot designed for no less than 1000 GPM with GPS guidance and remote operation. Work must be completed after harvest 2026 and before seeding 2027, and the awarded contractor will manage, maintain and coordinate project communications with the Contracting Manager and CDC Project Coordinator; a site walkthrough at SE 17‑9‑11‑W4 is available 9:00–14:00 on October 13, 2026 (request a visit time from the Contracting Manager before October 12, 2026).
