Tender: Relocation of Historical and Archaeological Collections from Quebec City to Gatineau

Parks Canada is seeking a supplier to relocate historical and archaeological collections, documentation, equipment and office assets from two facilities in Quebec City to a new purpose-built Collections and Curatorial Centre in Gatineau. The contract period runs from December 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. Bids will only be accepted by email to soumissionsest-bidseast@pc.gc.ca or by facsimile to 1-877-558-2349; in-person or courier submissions and emails containing links will not be accepted. Parks Canada can receive emails up to 15 MB and bidders may send multiple properly labeled emails if needed; bid enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority no later than five calendar days before closing. A security requirement applies: new personnel security clearance requests require mandatory fingerprinting and applicants are responsible for fingerprinting costs. Attendance at mandatory site visits is required: Beauport Reserve (442 av. Des Cordillères, Québec) and Newton Reserve (1780 av. Newton, Québec) on 20 October 2026, and the Collections and Curatorial Centre (555 av. Des Entreprises, Gatineau) on 22 October 2026; offerors must confirm attendance with the Contracting Authority by 15 October 2026 at 14:00 EDT and sign an attendance sheet, and Canada will declare offers non-compliant if the mandatory site visit is not attended. All work must comply with National Parks Regulations and procurement documents are available through the Government of Canada tendering service.
