About

The Town of Sexsmith, as managing partner with the County of Grande Prairie, is seeking a qualified consulting firm to develop a Regional Stormwater Implementation Plan providing professional consulting, engineering, environmental, regulatory, and capital planning services to support enhanced regional stormwater management, flood mitigation, infrastructure optimization, and long-term municipal planning. The required work includes a project kickoff and confirmed workplan, historical stormwater data review, situational analysis and site surveys, review of municipal infrastructure and asset records, environmental reviews including wetland and watercourse evaluations, regulatory review and permitting analysis, engineering analysis and development of preliminary and detailed design options for drainage infrastructure (including catch basins, culverts, easements and alignment alternatives), cost estimates, cost models and cost-benefit analysis, prioritized implementation recommendations, preparation of a draft and finalized Regional Stormwater Implementation Plan, updates to the Town’s 10-year capital plan and a County 10-year capital plan limited to areas affected by upstream or downstream impacts from the Town of Sexsmith, and support for municipal engagement, meetings and presentations with provided presentation materials.
