About

Ontario Health is seeking expressions of interest from geneticists for the role of Quality Lead for the Provincial Genetics Laboratory Network (PGLN) within the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Program (PLMP). The PGLN is a provincially coordinated system of clinical genetic testing services across Ontario designed to improve access, enhance patient outcomes, and provide better value; it comprises ten laboratories serving as interpretation and sequencing sites. The Quality Lead will implement a quality management program for network labs in alignment with Accreditation Canada requirements and will oversee quality metrics, performance monitoring, and the identification and amelioration of risks to PGLN testing. This opportunity is open to all qualified candidates and is intended to provide leadership to drive quality, accountability, and innovation in the genetics health care system.
