About

The Town of Stettler is seeking proposals for the sale and development of municipally-owned residential lands in the Town of Stettler. The successful proponent will enter into a land sales agreement that includes conditions for payment, title transfer, subdivision approvals, rezoning applications, a development agreement and a development schedule, and all lots created through the development must be publicly available for purchase. The lands are currently partially subdivided into R1 – Residential Low Density lots but, based on the Town of Stettler’s 2024 Housing Needs Assessment, the Town desires higher density residential development; the lands are suited for a mix of R1 and R2 – Residential General development with priority given to proponents who include land available for an apartment site or other high-density residential development.
