About

Westwinds Communities is seeking a project management firm to provide project management services for the Westwinds D’Arcy Affordable Apartment Development in partnership with the Town of Okotoks. The developer has secured serviced land on the NE corner of the D’Arcy subdivision (located in NW Okotoks), subdivided into three parcels, two of which Westwinds owns as part of a Bare Land Condominium, and will develop the combined 0.92-acre site over two phases for a total of 50 affordable housing units. Construction is commencing on the second phase (east site, Unit 3) at #300, 31 Sage Way, Okotoks, a 0.61-acre site with a planned start date of March 2027; Westwinds has obtained building permits to construct Site 300 as a forty-unit, four-storey wood-frame apartment comprising a combination of one-bedroom barrier-free and traditional one-bedroom units with amenity spaces. The project requires funding approval from Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporate (CMHC) prior to proceeding.
