Tender: Performance Evaluation of Consumer Radon Measurement Devices in Canada (2026–2031)

Health Canada is seeking a supplier for services to annually evaluate radon measurement devices commercially available in Canada, including the development and ongoing administration of a performance evaluation and testing program designed to assess device performance under conditions that reflect how residents would realistically deploy and use such devices in their homes. The vendor will evaluate new market entrants within a reasonable timeframe, produce a series of publicly available consumer reports on electronic radon testing devices to communicate findings to consumers, and provide information Health Canada will use to review testing guidelines, recommendations and protocols.
