About

Manitoba Hydro is seeking suppliers for inclusion on a pre-qualification framework for Natural Gas Construction and Services in two service categories: Category 1 - Insufficient Cover, and Category 2 - Regulation Station Installation and Upgrades, with the framework in force until December 31, 2035. This Request for Qualified Suppliers (RFQS) uses a two-stage process: successful applicants receive a Framework Agreement (not a contract for services) and, when work is required, Manitoba Hydro will invite proposals from qualified suppliers and may issue Service Release Orders (SROs) as contracts. Manitoba Hydro may revise service categories over time and existing qualified suppliers will not be required to requalify but may apply for additional categories. Interested suppliers should email Sherry Scott Lemke at slemke@hydro.mb.ca to request the information package and submit completed submissions by email (preferably as searchable, bookmarked PDF files); submissions are not to be submitted through MERX. Suppliers can expect an evaluation period of approximately 4–6 weeks and only successful applicants will be awarded a Framework Agreement.
