Tender: Light Forces Enhancement — Industry Feedback on Lightweight Tactical Personnel and Cargo Carriers for the Canadian Armed Forces

Public Services and Procurement Canada is requesting industry feedback on the Light Forces Enhancement project to identify new lightweight tactical personnel and cargo carrying capabilities for the Government of Canada, Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces. The required capabilities are intended to move soldiers and equipment across complex terrain currently reachable only on foot, reduce soldiers’ on-person combat burden by carrying additional equipment and supplies, and extend area of operations through increased speed, range and duration. The solution is expected to be powerful and lightweight and to operate in domestic and expeditionary deployments, up to and including high-threat environments.
