Tender: Lease of 1–4 Bedroom Residential Units in Iqaluit with Energized Parking (Approx. 5-Year Term)

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is seeking residential units for lease in the City of Iqaluit from Registered Inuit Firms and other parties to meet current or potential future requirements, specifically one- to four-bedroom units each with one energized parking space. Proposed units must include a living room, dining area, kitchen with full-size stove and refrigerator, one full bathroom, on-site laundry with full-size washer and dryer, and sufficient residential storage; they must be compatible with surrounding land uses and comply, on or before lease commencement, with PSPC’s Standards for Leased Residential Accommodation, the Canada Labour Code (as applicable to fire, health and safety), the Canadian Electrical Code, the National Building Code of Canada and all other applicable codes, standards and local laws. The lease term is approximately five years, PSPC may inspect proposed space and undertake threat and risk assessments, reserves the right to early terminate any or all units with 90 days' notice, and may install equipment to monitor fuel, water and electricity consumption.
