About

The Canadian Photonics Fabrication Centre (CPFC) at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) is seeking a supplier to establish Known Good Die (KGD) capability by retrofitting an existing space to an ISO 6 clean room to house automated tools such as Dual Ion Beam Sputter (DIBS) laser facet coating systems. This project supports back-end processing for photonic devices fabricated on InP wafers to reduce time and cost for new product introduction (NPI) and to deliver tested, known good die to clients serving telecommunications, sensing, quantum technologies, AI, data centres, automotive LiDAR, biomedical, aerospace and security applications.
