The Town of Carrot River is seeking an individual or group to provide contracted janitorial services for the town office and library beginning October 1, 2026. The position covers regular business days (approximately 21 days per month) with average hours of 20–30 per month and includes daily tasks such as emptying garbage and recycling, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and spot mopping floors, and wiping exposed counters, desks and telephones; weekly duties including dusting and wiping all surfaces (including under and lifting equipment), dusting computer monitors and keyboards, cleaning windows, vacuuming carpets, sweeping/mopping floors and moving recycling/garbage bins out for pickup; and periodic tasks such as shampooing carpets, washing walls and baseboards, and washing external windows. The ideal candidate will be bondable and have demonstrated cleaning experience.
