RM of Shellbrook No. 493 is seeking a contractor to install one 2200 mm x 17 m CSP culvert at NE 24-50-03-W3. The RM will supply the culvert, riprap, geotextile, clay fill, pit run/granular bedding and traffic gravel; the contractor must provide all labour, equipment and haul RM-supplied materials as required. Work includes removing and stockpiling the existing culvert at an RM-designated location, installing the supplied culvert, placing granular subbase/sand/pit run bedding, rebuilding and compacting the washed-out embankment with RM-supplied clay in lifts, restoring road crown with approx. 4% cross slope, installing geotextile at inlet/outlet, placing and shaping a riprap apron with erosion/sediment control, final grading to match existing profile, applying up to 50 mm traffic gravel, and removing excess material to restore the site. Bidders must submit a lump-sum price (excluding culvert/gravel supply), equipment list, insurance, schedule/start date, two references and evidence of safety/environmental compliance.
