About

SaskWater is seeking a qualified consultant to undertake a hydrogeological investigation to assess the Eastend-Wood Mountain aquifer’s capacity as a raw water supply for the Town of Assiniboia, Saskatchewan. The consultant must confirm aquifer capacity and groundwater quality to accommodate current and projected annual withdrawals, determine the sustainable/safe yield, and identify the number and location of production wells required to support the Town’s water demand. The scope includes provision of a drilling contractor (under the consultant’s direct supervision) to perform drilling execution and oversight, geophysical investigations, pumping tests and groundwater sampling, and requires compliance with applicable Saskatchewan regulations, professional standards, safety requirements, environmental protection measures and utility owner procedures. SaskWater is Saskatchewan’s commercial Crown water utility supporting communities, First Nations and industry with sustainable water solutions.
