R.M. of Mervin No. 499 is seeking a contractor to crush approximately 50,000 cubic yards of 1‑inch traffic gravel at the Christal Pit (SW 26-54-20-W3) in 2027, with all work to be completed by May 31, 2027; the crushed product must be stockpiled on site and produced from the pit area shown in the attached picture. The crusher must be capable of handling a minimum 24‑inch rock size; payment will be made per cubic yard for finished product meeting the R.M.’s specifications as measured by the R.M.’s engineer, with payment within 30 days of final measurement and no progress payments. Tenders must include the information in the Tender Documents, be submitted by 4:30 p.m. CST on October 5, 2026, include a 5% bid bond with the tender, and provide a $20,000 performance bond within 21 days of award (returned in full if the project is completed by the specified date); Saskatchewan Worker’s Compensation account number and clearance letter must also be included. Tender documents are available via the attached files or by contacting the R.M. of Mervin office at 306-845-2045.

This tender is well suited to contractors with mobile crushers capable of processing 24‑inch rock and experience in bulk gravel crushing and on‑site stockpiling; key considerations include the May 31, 2027 completion deadline, the requirement to crush from the specific pit area, the need to supply a 5% bid bond and a $20,000 performance bond, no progress payments (payment only after final measurement), and inclusion of Saskatchewan Worker’s Compensation clearance.
