Tender: External Audit Services for Town of Coalhurst – Municipal Financial Statement Audit (Alberta)

Town of Coalhurst is seeking a qualified accounting firm to provide professional external auditing services for the municipality. The RFP requests proposals to obtain all auditing services required by the Town at a competitive value and allows respondents to include additional information or innovative approaches; the Town will supply reasonable additional information on request. Audits must be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and the Public Sector Accounting Board standards for municipal government, and must meet reporting requirements set out by the Province of Alberta in the Municipal Government Act and its regulations. Auditor responsibilities include providing an opinion on the external financial statements, reporting Alberta Municipal Affairs information, and advising on presentation and disclosure.
