Tender: Community Health Needs Assessment for Spruce Grove Region — 24‑Hour Urgent Care Centre Evaluation

The City of Spruce Grove is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to undertake a Community Health Needs Assessment for Spruce Grove and the surrounding region that analyzes current and future health care demand, identifies clinical service gaps, and delivers clear, evidence-based findings to support regional health care planning, advocacy and decision-making. The assessment will determine whether clinical, demographic and health service utilization evidence demonstrates a need for a 24-hour Urgent Care Centre serving the region, and will evaluate how additional urgent care capacity could complement existing services and provincial investments such as the Westview Health Centre. The successful consultant will work collaboratively with the City, regional municipal partners, provincial health care representatives, physicians, health service providers, Indigenous health or medical leadership and other stakeholders, and will analyze population trends, clinical and utilization data, existing service capacity, current and projected demand, and stakeholder information to reach an objective conclusion or identify other significant clinical service gaps and whether further feasibility or clinical planning is warranted.
