About

The City of Leduc is seeking operators and contractors to qualify to provide snow hauling services as set out in this Request for Qualifications. Respondents must be actively engaged in the required line of work and able to reference similar projects. Qualification is a multi-stage evaluation, including equipment and snowboard inspections, to develop a list of up to 16 qualified contractors who will be placed on an as-required call-out list. Qualified contractors must be able to provide operated tandem or single axle units (minimum 10-yard box before snowboard) and end dump trailer units with a snowboard extension to haul snow from various City locations to City-designated snow dump sites; the RFQ invites submissions for the 2025–2026 winter season and describes call-outs for the 2026–2027 winter season. The City may use qualified haulers to supplement its snow removal operations but makes no guarantee of work volume or any commitment to enter into a contract.
